I'm pretty sure that they will be recorded, and that you could watch the recordings and also take part in the asynchronous aspect on Wet Ink. However, I'm double checking with the education team at Wet Ink about the recordings and I'll respond again here with their answer. Thank you!
Hi Martin, they just got back to me, and I'm going to paste it below verbatim, but the tl;dr is yes, but only with the other students' consent (so... it's not guaranteed and you shouldn't rely on it).
Hugo House recording policy:
If a student requests a recording, class recordings may be made under the following circumstances:
Instructor consents to recording
All students consent to their class session being recorded
The recording is private and only available to instructors and students in the class. The recording will be not be available for public sale or distribution.
To obtain student consent, the instructor may:
Ask at the beginning of a class session OR
Ask students prior to the start of the class (via email)
If all students consent, please go ahead and record. We generally recommend recording to the cloud, but if you'd prefer to record to your computer & upload to Wet Ink (or link via Wet Ink), you can absolutely do that as well!
In short: Because of the student consent component, recordings are not guaranteed. So if a student registers, I recommend that they do so under the expectation that classes will NOT be recorded for later viewing. (Even if recording may become an option for them later, after class begins.)
Hi Elisabeth, for the 6-week class will recordings of the sessions be made? I’d love to register but I’ll likely miss at least two sessions.

Thanks for double checking!

I’ve registered. Looking forward to this!
Wonderful!
